Playing in the Dirt.

Ani came out to the garden today to help Dad with his strawberry's.

 This is the first ripe strawberry of the season,

its very precious to Dad,

He even has a little troll that guards it!

 Hopefully Ani will get her mothers green thumb,

 the only thing dad is good at is tilling.



Yes!! I still fit!!

 "Told ya."

 "Kinda stuck yall?!?!"

 "Do I have to do everything my self?"

 "Almost there."

 "Little more."

 "I'm out of here!"



Easter at Omi's

Happy Easter

 Ani's Easter basket was full of all of her favorite things from books to chocolate

 It's a bubble wand (for those who don't know)

 Ani got another Easter basket at Omi's house, lucky girl.

The Big Event

Granddaddy and Memaw came over to Omi and GiGi's house to visit

before the Easter egg hunt on Saturday and brought Ani an Easter gift.

 as usual there were lots of photos taken

Afterwords we all headed to the hunt, Ani had to group with the 3 to 5 year old  group

since they didn't have a group for her age.

 While there we ran into Jent and Max,  Max grabbed more eggs then any other child i saw

 even with all the training Ani still couldn't help her self.

And the big moment, even though she was with the bigger kids Ani still got 4 eggs

and thanks to Granddaddy

(who kept sneaking them out of her basket and dropping them in front of her)
it seemed to Ani like she got dozens of them.



Training Day

Just like every prize fighter you have to train before the big day.

Just trying to get the basics down.

 And there you have it ...... Ready for the big day.

Chiemi and I just hope there are no leaves near the eggs

 come Easter or were sunk.

So we found out that Ani gets a kick out of watching Tucker (our dog) chase a squeaky toy.

Im a good helper

we are in the process of remodeling our upstairs bathroom

 And Ani thought it would be fun to walk in the demolition area.

She forgot to wipe her feet off though when she left

Mess maker, mess maker, make me a mess.

 This morning Ani came across a bag of onions on the shelf.

 They wern't on the shelf for long.

I'm still not sure why they all had to be pulled out.

 Mom's stuff too

and were off to find something else to destroy

Scones!!

 The other day Mom made scones and Ani went crazy over them.

Ahhhh...  Nothing better.

A Bit o' History

Today Mom had to be at a convention right across the street

from Centennial Olympic Park,  and as Ani fell asleep while I stared at

the park from the 4th Floor of the Omni Hotel I wondered where My (Dad)

Brick was.  So after she woke up we went and searched.  Once arriving we

realized that there were way to many bricks so we called Yaya for some help

Needles to say, Yaya came through!

"YAY!!!  We found it."

Lions, and tigers, and bears! Oh, my! (March 4th 2011)

Granddaddy and Me-Ma took Ani (and her parents) to the Zoo over the weekend,

We all had lots of fun and spent most of the day looking at the animals

 and napping.

"Come on Scare Crow. Were off to see the Wizard"

 That's right Granddaddy is the Momma Kangaroo.

This was such an amazing moment that I couldn't believe I

 had caught it on film. As I took this picture, I was almost sure I had

missed this rare and fleeting occasion.  If you look closely at the picture,

 you might have to stare for a bit, but you can actually see that Me-Maw

 is holding Ani, and that the Ani snatcher (aka Granddaddy) is nowhere in

sight.   I should work for National Geographic!

This one is kinda big y'all.

Are you sure it's not real?

For some reason Ani seemed to enjoy the bronze animals more then the real ones,

Maybe it's because she could pull on their ears.

or sit on them.

Even though we picked on him a bit in this posting we wanted to say a big
