Dinner with Emma

 Emma came by this week for dinner and spent some time

with Ani and the family

During dinner Ani tried corn on the cobb

and loved it

really loved it

It was kind of random but, afterwords Ani

 though she should check dads blood pressure.

it was fine.

Little shopper

We went shopping at Kroger yesterday and Ani wouldn't let me walk 

around the store unless she was holding the basket too.

Shes a good shopper.

Ani and Palden

Elizabeth's husband Palden has made it here from Tibet

and Ani adores him.

Ani receved a new dress, i'm not sure what its called

and it takes some time to put on. 

And by some time I mean alot of time

And when I say a lot, I dont mean a small a lot

Its a big a lot

 We finaly get it on and she runs away

Working for Emory

Ani was nice enough to help out the students at Emory this past week

 Since Ani was the live model, there had to be room for play time.

Though it was a long 5 hours Ani did amazing.

but she was a bit tired at the end.

Still working on the Bathroom?

Ani was helping me paint the bathroom this week

(I know its not done yet, we had to find a tub we liked)

I know this one is blurry but she was attacking me with her

roller and I had to move.

(Mom would kill me if I got paint on her camera)

Job Hunting

Ani went to visit Granddaddy at the office and he put her

straight to work.

Not too shabby for her first job

Part of her responsibilities included IT support,

Organizing,

 

Fact checking,

and tours.

At the end of the day Ani decided maybe work

isn't the place for her just yet. 

The Return of Aunt Eli

This week Ani was nice enough to help mom and dad clear out the 3rd floor

of Omi's house so Aunt Eli and Uncle Palden will have a place to stay

upon their return from India.

(she's a good packer)

Old Friends

This week Dad went to visit a old childhood friend (Joel) at Chick-fil-A

so Ani got to come along for the ride.



Putt Putt AARRRRRrrrrrrr

Can't go on vacation without playing putt putt.

Into the great wide ocean

It took some time but by day 7 at the beach

Ani finally went into the Ocean.

Birth of a new friend

Ani got a new alligator that she takes with her

everywhere.......

Nothing cuter then a little girl in a dress holding an

alligator by the tail while running down the hall.

Wildlife

While in Hilton Head Ani visited a wildlife habitat

Omi showed Ani all the birds we would have seen

if it wasn't so hot.

 There were more little crabs though.

Ani also visited the butterfly house.

(and made a little friend)

so while on vacation Ani walked up the stairs for the

first time with no help or support.



A Day at the Beach

Vacation has finally come we arrived at Hilton Head where Mom

got Ani ready for the beach.

Then Dad got Ani Re-ready for the beach.

If you didn't see it before this is the chameleon in the picture above

that was on the chair leg right below dads hand.

 

It took some time but eventually Ani made it into the Ocean.

Ani saw her first little crab.

but she wouldn't touch it.

Anizilla

A few weeks ago I set up a train set for Ani to play with

 and she completely demolished the whole thing.

That night I began to wonder what would happen if it was a

town and not just a train.

so I built one

Not just a town, but docks, planes and cities.

 I set up the

camera and waited.

here's what happened

That's right my little monster turned into the Goddess of love

protector of the people....  

(Kids, ... they never seem to do what you want.)
