Drill Baby Drill

GiGi came into town last night and this morning Ani got to

show him all of her new tools from Christmas.

Some of her toys were broken so she got right to work

"One to go"

 for anyone who has taken their car in for repairs, you know 

it can take all day.

Catch a Tiger by the Toe

While at Meema and Granddaddy's Christmas morning it took some time

for Ani to become comfertable around her new stuffed animal tiger (twice her size)

Yea we had to start from scratch, but don't worry

 she loves her tiger again.

Christmas

Christmas for Ani this year is a weekend affair.

Starting on the 24th Ani had Christmas at home and was delighted to find

her new balance bike.

After all the gifts were open we packed up and headed over to Omi's to cook 

and Grand-daddy and Meema's to spend the night

 Ani opened her first gift on Christmas morning with Memaw

(it was a coloring book)

Another toy Ani tested full before leaving was a new

crib for her dolls and a tiger that she wasn't so sure about..

After breakfast and spending the morning with Granddaddy, Memaw, Uncle Jake 

and Uncle Nathan we headed off to Omis' where Ani had to

 bring in her tiger to show everyone.

Ani helped pass out presents at Omi's

and couldn't wait for her stocking

Chickens Revisited

WE WON!!

That's right we get to keep our chickens. 

Even though four people

 showed up to oppose we were given the variance.

If you havent heard yet, the county is wanting us to get rid of our chickens.

So we went down to the Planning and Developing building to submit a variance.

 We made sure to be the first ones there,

Ani guarded the door for me.

Now you know who they make the pink and purple pamphlets for.

All of our paper work is submitted, Dad just has to go and 

talk to the panel, hope for the best!

Stedman Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving wasn't as scary this year.

 We figured out that if we get there first, people aren't

as scary one at a time.

Most people.

Thanksgiving at Omi's

Ani celebrated Thanksgiving with Omi the day before turkey day since

Mom had to work on Thursday.

 Ani and Omi perfect the pecan tart  recipe

You wouldn't believe the amount of food there was

The next morning Ani got to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

(yes i know TV is bad, but it only happens once a year)
