the Death of Dads Laptop

To anyone and everyone who reads my little blog,

I am sorry to say that my Laptop has died!!!!    I brought my computer along on this vacation to Hilton Head Beach with the intention of posting her adventures on the beach.  Though I new my laptop had a few problems (that I was planing on having fixed upon my return) I brought it along since I thought it wasn't that bad.

Well,  once we arrived I pulled my PC out and the hard drive wouldn't boot up......... Now some of you might be saying... " Ian didn't you used to fix PC's for a living?"  "Aren't you the one we call when there is a computer problem?"   Even though the answers are yes. My Laptop is much worse off then normal.

First, the computer comes on but the hard drive doesn't so that means its a Hardware problem to a virus or malware.

Second,  I didn't think I would need my tool kit while on Vacation (yes Dad, I can hear your voice now....."you should  always carry a spare Flux Capacitor for emergency situations")

Enough about the PC, I'm sure your thinking the same thing,  Why not post on Darla's PC

(By the way Chiemi just told me that no one will read this far once they realize there are no pictures, so to all of y'all that didn't finish reading..... Y'all Suck!.      now back to the adventures of Ani.... )

So where was... that's right, why not post on Darla's PC ... well my laptop has a slot for memory cards of all shapes and sizes. So I just pull it out of my camera and slide it in my PC.  Well as you know, my PC is broke so when i pulled out Darla's and tried to put in the card I found her laptop didn't have a spot and we did not bring along the cables for the camera since we didn't need them.

So once again, I am sorry and will try to find the cables and post when I get home..... the laptop won't be fixed for a while so I will try and keep y'all up to date.

Just so you know on day one Ani was terrified of the ocean but we were able to get her in of her own free will by the 3rd day.  She is swimming and collecting shells and having a blast.

We will post again soon

Ani vs. the Dreaded Puddle

One fine day Ani was skipping down the road

minding her own business

When all of a sudden she realized she was
stuck in a puddle

This was a huge puddle and little Ani dare not move
for fear of drowning

She called for help.,...

but no one came.

Then when it seemed like all hope was lost the clouds
parted and a hand reached out

And led Ani out of the giant puddle

(it's big so it took some time to get out)

it was terrifying

the horror

Helpful tip, as per comcast

So, first I just would like to say that I think it is beyond funny that one of the only people to post on the blog was a representative from Comcast.  Because some of you have asked, here are some easy instructions in case you would ever like to post a comment.

1.  Find the post you would like to comment on.
2.  Scroll down to the bottom of that post.
3. Look for a White Box underneath where it says "Post a Comment" to type in or Click on where it says " 0  comments " in Blue.
4. Type your comment.
5. Under the Comment Box there is a selection tool where it says "Comment as."
6. Scroll through the "Comment as" selections and choose "Name/Url"
7. Type your name. ( ie.  Ian Stedman) and then hit  "Continue"
8. Click on "Post Comment"
9. Next it will ask for a Word Verification. Type in the Word you see.
10. Click on "Post Comment" and your done.

4th of July Weekend

Ani's 4th of July was full of fun.
First, Memaw, Granddaddy and Omie came over for a cook out

One of Omi's neighbors, Judy always decorates for the 4th and
brought Ani over a flag.
.

Also Ani visited a furniture sale where she was able to
practice her climbing.

more later.

Heading to the Basement

Just thought y'all might like to see what happens
every time I go in the basement

she's like Alice in wonderland, she ate drank the juice and now she needs to find a crumb of cake to eat to fit through our kitty door

Eating With Ani

Granddaddy and Memaw had a cook out and Ani was invited.
(I think Chiemi and I got to go because we were transport for the kid)

You would think that there would be more to do then watch Ani eat.

There wasn't!

I'm Serious.

Max was also their but wasn't as interested in watching Ani eat.

Bye for now

The FarmMobile

We have a new travailing farmers market in the area that carries everything from
organic vegetables to grass feed free rang meats and eggs.

Ani went for a tour of the truck and meet the owners.
(she also bought some sausage.)

Bye Bye Black Sheep

Well the sheep have left.
Ani still asks about them when ever we come home and looks
for them out the windows every once in a while.

We though we would show yall the progress they made on the yard.
