poor Ani, we stopped feeding her, so she's forced to snack on the table

Santa brought her a table and chairs, and her favorite... books!

Aunt Susie and Mary added to the collection of baby furniture with a tent and tunnel

And Omi got her a baby doll, mmm, tastes yummy

for those of you without first-hand experience, Ani hates hats - and she is so kind that she promptly attempted to remove this poor baby's hat; much to her chagrin, it is permanently attached to this baby

so she smothered her in hugs to comfort the sad, hat-wearing baby

12.22.10: Ani meets Santa again

Ani went to Phipps Plaza to meet with Santa

All dressed up, she was so excited to see the man that would bring her toys on Christmas

Then she realized that Santa is the scary man from the Christmas Tree farm

 and that was the end of that

Even with Mom holding her Ani wanted nothing to do

with the jolly fat man.

oh, and the best part...  we ruined the photo for the little girl behind us who, consequently to Ani's reaction, was also terrified, and photographed with an open mouth howl for the camera, we do sincerely apologize

LumberJack Ani

Ani, Mom and Dad headed out to get a Christmas tree and thought it would be fun to start the tradition of chopping down our own tree every year.

There were a wide veriety of trees to choose from

After walking for 3 minutes we found the perfect tree

Ani sat next to Dad while he sawed down the tree

After her traumatic experience with Santa we distracted Ani with a tractor

While Santa snuck in behind her for a picture.

visit to NC

Ani headed up to Fayetteville N.C. to visit Yaya and Grandpa and happend to run into Uncle Todd during the visit.  Ani loves Uncle Todd's phone.

Gammy was also there to see little Ani and spend some time.

Ani loved crawling all over Yaya's home and yanking all the decorations off of her Christmas tree.

After Ani left Yaya's we stayed at the Sheraton in Raleigh N.C. while Mom gave a talk on Title X for the non-medical professional; it was terribly cold, Dad tried to kill himself on an ice patch outside of the parking garage.
