At the Cabin

This weekend Ani headed to the cabin for some relaxation

and to visit with Yaya, Grandpaw and Gammy

Some fun new toys were awaiting her arrival.

And they quickly turned in to DBT's

  (Danger Baby Toys)

Ani visited with Gammy and Yaya 

And showed them why Dad is bringing his

 pressure washer the next time.

Now it's not like we sat around the cabin the whole time.

We went to the local market and town.

Stopped in some of those strange stores along the road in town.

Even got some cupcakes.

Grandpaw got Ani a new pair of Clogs

that she loves to wear.

Unk, Gale and Michael Lee came by the cabin for a cookout

 and got to meet Ani.

Ani enjoyed visiting with all the family.

Also Yaya's child hood friend Pat visited who also brought

along her daughter Taylor.

 

Ani liked Taylor's sun glasses.

The trip was fun but we couldn't stay forever,

 it took some doing but we finally got her in the car.

 

 On the way home Ani stopped by BabyLand again since it was

such a big hit last time.

It's just like Where's Waldo but smaller.

 Gammy got Ani her very first Cabbage Patch Kid

When we finally got home Ani ran and gave Meg a big Hug.

Comcast and Geek Squad

Once again we are waiting on comcast, but today we have multiple appointments

setup. One for cable, TV, and Internet install the other for TV Mounting

While we waited we tried a home made beef jerky recipe.

It was very yummy.

Finally everyone arrived (all at once), the comcast truck is right behind mine.

 I figure with all the police car pictures and fire truck pictures, why not?

 After all the excitement she just couldn't take any more and passed out.

Who new service men were just as good as a trip to the Zoo.

Daddys Birthday

 Granddaddy, Memaw, Grandma Gerry, Nana, Chiemi and Ani

took Ian to lunch this week.

Ani wasn't all that hungry but we did try to feed her.

(here's the proof) 

So much better then the last time Grandma Gerry got her photo with Ani.

 Granddaddy thought it would be cute to put Ani in glasses.

 And it was till he tried to get them back.

We had lots of fun at lunch but all things must end.

Waiting on Comcast

 Omi asked if Ani and Dad could come over this week to wait

 for the Comcast Guy. So Ani and I got their early and marked where we wanted everything

 And then we waited...... Don't get me wrong we were happy to wait since we were helping out Omi.

But we did wait longer

And Longer!!!

Though are appointment was set between the hours of 8am and 11am

no one ever came. (yes we called and they had no reason why).
