Picking a Pumpkin

Back to the pumpkin patch again and so far so good.

(maybe she's over her fear of pumpkins)

We started off small again

and worked our way up

"Little Help!"

Rules are clearly posted all over the property

And Memaw is a stickler for the rules

Mom isn't! 

Can you believe that Ani has celebrated

more Halloweens then Palden

MMmmmm Cotton Candy

just had to get her little hand stamped

and nothing says Halloween like feeding the goats.

Ani Vs. The Monstrous Cookie

One evening Ani finished her dinner like all good little girls do.

When suddenly, a cookie appeared.

Ani took a little nibble to see if the cookie was good

And it was

So Ani took another bite of her wonderful cookie

When she noticed her hands were getting dirty

Ani tried eating the cookie with one finger to cut back on the mess

But that was too slow

Being right handed mabye her right finger would be faster.

But it was still too slow.

She tried grabbing the cookie from the bottom.

But the icing got in the way and spread all over her face.

Ani reached for a napkin,

none came.

So she improvised.

Just remember.

Its best to use your head when you're under pressure.

YaYa's Visit

YaYa came down to help out with Ani while Dad recovered from

his eye surgery and we had a great time.

We started out at the Zoo, a vnd a lot of the animals were up close

and personal that day.

One of Ani's favorite animals at the zoo is the 

Komodo Dragon.

We're working on the whole reading thing.

"Dad where is it?"

 "I can wait!"

after learning how to read we found the Komodo Dragon  

 She could sit here all day and watch him.

 Ani also got to ride the carousel for the first time.

After the zoo we were so close to Mom's work that we stopped in 

and brought her some lunch.

Then off to the park.

That's right... There is no resting while YaYa is in town.

Where to next?  Nope not Jail!

Just the mall.

We finally start to wind down at the end

 of the day with a trip to the local bakery. 

Where Ani picks out her cookie.

But that's another story.

Finally Finished

YaYa was coming into town for the week so we had to finally 

finish up the upstairs bathroom that we have been putting off for months.

Grand-daddy came over to help with the project

Close to the Halfway mark it looked like this

Yea!! a tub!!

"Done!"

Finally we finished and YaYa and Ani were the first ones to test it out.

so far no one has fallen through the floor.
